Peter Wall Joins SBP
Former Argo Blockchain CEO Peter Wall has been appointed as the new senior advisor to Sustainable Bitcoin Protocol (SBP). His main objective is to ensure SBP appeals to institutional investors in order to increase legitimacy within the crypto industry.
Wall spent the first decade of his career working as a journalist, before transitioning into entrepreneurship and eventually taking up the role of CEO at Argo Blockchain, where he led them through a period of growth including listing on Nasdaq and raising over $200 million.
Goals with SBP
The goal of joining SBP is to educate global communities about climate investing assets by embracing bitcoin, while also improve how they articulate their mission in supporting miners. In an interview, SBP CEO Brad van Voorhees expressed his enthusiasm about having Wall onboard.
Wall stated that he was thrilled to join the team and have the opportunity to help bitcoin become one of the world’s most sustainable asset classes in terms of climate investing. He believes that together they can work towards this common goal.
